A Pop of Colour đź’ˇ

Anyone else loving the new flash of colour on the Saint John sign? Those LED lights are giving the skyline a whole new vibe. Some are calling it "too much," but honestly, it’s adding a little fun to the city—who doesn’t need a pop of neon every now and then?

Envision Saint John Unveils Bold Plans đź“ť
Envision Saint John has launched two big initiatives to shape the region’s future. The Regional Economic Development Strategy focuses on jobs, business growth, and making the area even more livable. The Tourism Master Plan is all about boosting attractions, improving infrastructure, and giving visitors reasons to stick around longer.
Months of research and community input went into these plans. CEO Andrew Beckett says they’re about building on the region’s strengths and working together for long-term success.
You can explore the Economic Development Strategy and the Tourism Master Plan online for all the details.
Saint John Pedway Revamp Continues đź›—
If you were hoping to include a new ride in the Saint Patrick Street pedway elevators as part of your Sparkles experience, you’ll have to wait a bit longer. The $1.6-million upgrade, originally set to wrap in October, has been delayed with no firm opening date yet.
The project includes wide stairs to replace the aging escalators and a shiny new elevator. Perfect for parents looking to turn “riding the elevator” into a downtown adventure.
The city says the improvements will save money, boost safety, and be worth the wait. Businesses in the pedway are still open, so don’t be deterred from veering into Rocky’s if ya get the chance. (CHSJ)
Garden Street Traffic Pattern Change 🚨
Heads up—The traffic pattern at the bottom of Garden Street has changed. What was once a merge onto City Road is now a Yield. Use caution when entering City Road.
This change is part of the recently completed $3.3M Garden Street upgrades, which also include new sewers, a water main, wider sidewalks, and safer intersections.
