🍰 Fresh Bakes at JLM Patisserie’s Pop-Up Today
Hold on to your taste buds! JLM Patisserie is baking up an all-new lineup today
(10am– 3pm at 107 Princess Street). Pastry pro Jessica McKenzie and sidekick Courtney went wild in the kitchen, whipping up fresh treats like herbed focaccia, gooey pecan pie squares, and a nutty almond cookie. And yes, the fan-fave scones are back—with a new flavour twist!

🎅 Santa is Coming to the Port City This Saturday
The Santa Claus Parade kicks off at 6 pm sharp, with 46 festive floats, holiday tunes, and a route tweak to keep things spicy (but mainly because of construction). This year, no loop around King’s Square—Santa’s sleigh will head up Union, swing onto Charlotte and down King as usual before finishing up at Wellesley and Somerset.
And it’s more than just lights and floats. The Teamsters are collecting toys, Local 18 is gathering food bank donations, and Canada Post will be grabbing those letters to Santa. So, grab the kids (and some canned goods), find your spot, and get ready for serious holiday cheer. Pro tip - avoid parking too close to the finish line at Wellesley & Somerset, unless you’re hoping for a festive little ticket surprise!
