🌟 Nominate Someone Great in Saint John

Together with

Good morning! This is SJ Today - the only thing you’ll read all day that won’t mention that thing happening down south today.

In today’s edition:

  • Let’s celebrate those making a difference in our city 🎉

  • Is the Westside about to become a brunch destination? 🥚

  • Free concert alert! 🎸

Let’s get crackin’.

AutoTec - 90 Duke Street, Saint John

Cold weather isn’t far off and the roads in our region can quickly become treacherous. That's why AutoTec on Duke Street is here to remind you of the importance of winter tires. These specialized tires are designed to provide better traction, handling, and safety in icy and snowy conditions. Switching to winter tires now can prevent accidents and enhance your driving experience throughout the colder months.

In addition to winter tires, AutoTec is proud to offer their "You See What We See" inspection. Using tablets to record detailed inspections, they share the findings with you, ensuring transparency and trust. This special offer empowers you to understand your vehicle's condition fully.

Don’t wait until the first snowfall—visit AutoTec today for a consultation and make sure your vehicle is ready for winter. Stay safe on the roads this season and enjoy peace of mind with AutoTec, where your safety is their priority!

NEWS NOTES

FACES OF FUSION NOMINATIONS ARE OPEN đŸ†

Who do you know that is making Saint John the vibrant, welcoming city we all love? Nominate them for Fusion Saint John’s Faces of Fusion awards! Fusion SJ is celebrating rockstars in Entrepreneur/Business, Environmental/Sustainability, Arts & Culture, Saint John Champion, and New ‘Johner’ categories. Nominations are open until December 3, with awards handed out on February 7, 2025, at the Marco Polo Cruise Ship Terminal.

Don’t miss the fun – great food, networking, and a chance to honor those who make our city shine. And hey, I may be a bit biased, but trust me, it’s an event worth being part of.

WESTSIDERS ARE GONNA FLIP 🥞

Big news on the West Side! Lancaster Mall has been reborn as Lancaster Crossing, and it’s bringing in a fresh lineup. Among the newcomers, Napa Auto Parts and a breakfast joint, Stacked Pancake House—finally something to fill the void left by the old Coffee Mill. And, with Kerr Optical moving up the street to the new Aquarius building on Fairville Blvd, there’s an 18,000 sqf vacancy at the crossin’ (as I like to call it). Would that be big enough for an indoor dog park? Check out the new floor plan.
