Founder Sash Selvaratnam says Zippy’s not just about rides—it’s a two-for-one deal, also offering on-demand deliveries. Need a quick lift or a forgotten lunch dropped off? Zippy’s on it.

Already rolling in Moncton, Fredericton, and beyond, they’re now hiring drivers in Saint John. Selvaratnam sums it up perfectly: “Think Uber, but New Brunswick-style.”

Coleson Cove Gets the Green Light for Another Five Years 🔋

Coleson Cove Generating Station just scored a five-year renewal on its air quality approval, keeping the power flowing—and the debates simmering.

NB Power’s Saint John facility cranks out electricity by burning heavy fuel oil and petroleum coke, with three boilers capable of producing a whopping 350 megawatts each. After a public review and consultation process, the provincial government says it’s good to go until 2029.
