Let’s be honest, there’s really only one way to adjust to the time change this week and that is eat as much delicious food as possible. And we’re in luck, because it’s Chop Chop week Uptown! Celebrating the event’s 15th anniversary, 20+ Uptown restaurants are serving up an amazing array of menus! For the newbies, you can decide between Chop Chop Dinners - 3 course meals for $45, a 2-course Chop Chop Lunch for up to $20 or the Chop Chop Plate, a special dish for $15. HOCKEY NIGHT IN QUISPAM 🥅

The nation’s best have already laced up their skates as the U18 Women’s National Hockey Championships started Sunday at the Q-Plex. Eight teams from across the country are competing to be crowned Canada’s team in the tournament’s first ever visit to the Maritimes. Team Atlantic kicked things off with a nail bitter, losing to Saskatchewan 2-1 in overtime. With 22 games on the schedule over the next week, there's a lot of hockey to get excited about with individual game tickets for $10. Tickets are available at the QPlex admin office and at the door on game day.

WHO’S READY TO ROCK? 🎸

Canadian rock legends BTO are hitting the road next spring and will bring the Back in Overdrive 2025 Tour to TD Station on May 7, 2025. And they’re not rockin’ alone - they’ll be joined by April Wine & the Headpins. Tickets go on sale Friday. As the Headpins would say…Don’t It Make Ya Feel Like Dancin’?

SEA YA NEXT YEAR 🛳️

As cruise ship season sails into the sunset, Saint John can call 2024 a success! With 74 ships and around 160,000 visitors stopping by, it’s been a solid year for our port city. And for a final hurrah, the crew at Area 506 threw one last bash with their Container Close-Out this past weekend. Now, as the gates close, they’re already dreaming up big plans for 2025. We’re counting down! (CTV Atlantic)
