đč Shake Up Dry January with Mocktails That Matter

Anyone else giving Dry January a try, but still craving something exciting? Realtor Judy Mitchell is here to prove you can have it both ways. Inspired by her own journey toward drinking less and the realization that non-alcoholic options often lack creativity, Judy decided to host Mocktail Mixology 101. âI understand the challenge of breaking the habit of âneedingâ a drink with dinnerâespecially when dining out and faced with limited non-alcoholic options,â she says.
Enter this special event, a boozy-free bash happening Monday, January 6th from 6:30â8:30pm at Hopscotch Whisky Bar. For just $10, youâll get hands-on mixology tips and walk away with the skills to dazzle your friendsâor at least yourselfâwith mocktails that are anything but boring.
But this isnât just about shaking and stirring for fun. Every dollar raised goes to the Sophia Recovery Centre, a powerhouse of support for women reclaiming their lives from addiction. Since 2008, Sophia has been a beacon of hope, offering peer mentorship and care in Saint John and surrounding communities. With plans to expand their reach, theyâre making freedom from addiction a reality for women across New Brunswick.
Space is limited, so donât let this cocktail-free happy hour pass you by! Reserve your spot here or email [email protected]. Cheersâmocktails in hand, of course!
