NEWS NOTES
⚠️ Still Icy So Use Caution
After Sunday’s ice storm, road conditions are still less than ideal as we head back to work and school this morning. Watch your step - sidewalks and roads are slick with lingering ice from the storm. Crews have been working to clear things up, but with cold temperatures it’s difficult to stay on top of. Slow down, take it easy, and maybe skip the fancy footwear today.
If you're in Quispamsis and need some extra traction, the town has free sand available for residents at 18 Municipal Drive, near Walter Jewett Field. Just bring your own container, and keep in mind it may contain salt, which can be rough on grass and pavement.
For Saint John residents, if you’ve got particular issues or flooding to report you can call the City’s Customer Service Centre at 658-4455. If you spot a fallen power line or have a power outage, contact Saint John Energy at 658-5252 or online.
